If it is wildlife you are interested in seeing you can spot some on the day time cruises but for a better chance we recommend you book to join one of our evening wildlife experiences, leaving an hour before sunset and lasting about 2 hours these experiences have the potential to spot kingfishers, woodpeckers, marsh harriers, owls and beavers to name a few, of course this is "wild" life so nothing can be guaranteed but if nothing else it is a wonderful trip in the Kent countryside with a sunset is thrown in.
Leaving about an hour before sunset we cruise up the Stour guided by an ecologist, watchful for kingfishers and other wildlife along the banks, inspecting beaver activity and a beaver lodge along the way, before stopping for sunset with a hot drink, we then start the return journey and hopefully see a beaver or two swimming in the river as the light fades.
The experiences are for 2 hours, cost £25 (inc a hot drink) per head, children are welcome but generally we recommend age 12+. Unfortunately we cannot accept dogs on wildlife experiences.
We will set up some evening trips to spot and watch bird life,
beaver and any other fauna and flora we see - dates will be added during the year.
All Experiences are planned around 2 hours on the boat with an ecologist
providing recognition and information on the wildlife and fauna we see and hear.
They are all costed at £25 (inc a hot drink) per head.

due to the length of the event, keeping quiet, and the time of night.
