A green, in colour, and action, environmentally friendly electric powered boat, owned by Grove Ferry River Trips is available to take you quietly and sedately on a river cruise along the Kentish Stour, the cruise is managed by the skipper who will occasionally break the peace to enhance the trip with anecdotes of history that are relevant to your location on the river. As you pass through areas of outstanding beauty out of reach to others on foot or by car enjoy the quiet, fume free boat, the fresh air, and the tranquility.
"Ellen Mary" is the ideal platform for photographing the area. The boat will comfortably seat up to 12 passengers and is safe for children, under parental control. Why not enjoy a relaxing 50-minute river trip or book for a private "voyage" either way you get close to nature and the Kent countryside before finally returning to The Grove Pub and Inn - our mooring location.
The plan for 2023 is to continue running river trips and wildlife experiences, we'll stick to what we know. We prefer that all trips are pre-booked (Wildlife experiences must be pre booked), this is now easy with our proven online booking system, however, we can still accept some spontaneous walk-ins if space allows.
